A game I made early 2021 for the course Game Technology. I'm pretty proud of how it turned out; I kinda went ham on this game during those two weeks or so.

Two spaceships fight each other with their own special weapons and abilities in an enclosed looping arena, managing their ship's batteries and trying to reduce the crew of the opposing ship to 0. This was heavily inspired by Star Control II's Super Melee, in which all fights in that game play out sort of like this, in an asymmetric 1v1 top-down floaty style.

You can play against a computer player or play with two players.

Controls:

  • Player 1:
    • A/D - Turn
    • W - Move forward
    • G - Primary Weapon
    • H - Secondary Weapon
  • Player 2:
    • Left/Right Arrow - Turn
    • Up Arrow - Move forward
    • Semicolon (;) - Primary Weapon
    • Apostrophe (') - Secondary Weapon

I had a hard time with this one... I was trying to shoot, but I went flying! I should have read the spaceship weapon descriptions more carefully... T.T
